According to Hosteling International-USA, there are only 10,000 hostels in the world. Of that relatively small number, only 350 is in the United States. These hostels are widely scattered throughout the country. So no matter where you are in America, finding a hostel is very, very difficult. And finding a good hostel might be one of the most difficult tasks you will ever do in your life.
Some American cities do not have a single hostel, or at least a known hostel. Fort Worth is one of those cities. You can go circling all the districts of city one by one, and you'll end up wasting your time. All you are going to find are hotels, motels and bread and breakfast accommodations. So if you are planning on a trip to Fort Worth, you can give up your “hostel dreams” right now. It is wise to just check in at a hotel or motel so you can spend your time enjoying the city and not on finding an elusive place to stay.
However, if you're really after the hostel experience, you can still find a few hostels. No, not in Fort Worth but in its neighboring cities. Here are two of them.
